TXT Maple Lake, the integrated and collaborative planning solutions provider, is launching the new release of TXTPlanning 6.0, its integrated retail planning platform, and TXTPLM 4.0, its product lifecycle management (PLM) solution, at NRF, the big retail show in New York from 12-15 January 2014.

The new, upgraded version of TXTPlanning - which allows global retailers and brands to manage everything from the early merchandise planning stages, right through to allocation and replenishment - provides further enhanced session-based editing and simulation capabilities. The addition of hybrid in-memory technology results in much faster query and analysis response times.

TXTPlanning integrates seamlessly with the TXTPLM solution, with the latest version of TXTPLM 4.0 also on show at NRF. Enhancements to TXTPLM include greater mobile interactivity: "A key differentiator about TXTPLM is that on mobile devices it can also be used for proper editing," said Riccardo Proni, VP Product Strategy & Development at TXT. "It is not just about accessing information, but entering data and images, adding comments and acting upon information easily and effectively. Release 4.0 brings major innovations in this area."

TXT Maple Lake will be on booth number 3075 at the show, as well as on Microsoft Corp.'s booth as an industry partner.

"We are excited to announce these new releases and to be showing them in action at NRF," commented Simone Pozzi VP Sales & Marketing at TXT. "Besides important enhancements - both in the Planning and PLM arena - significant value comes from the seamless integration of the two solutions. With TXT, advanced planning methodologies and functionality are driving and supporting the product development process. This extended PLM approach drives increased alignment between market needs and the retailer offering. It allows retailers to add flexibility in their supply chain and be more responsive."

"This year at NRF we are showcasing how mobile devices can be utilized to streamline retail operations," said Tracy Issel, General Manager Worldwide Retail, Consumer Goods and Hospitality at Microsoft. "We are excited to have TXT at our booth demonstrating their innovations in this space because their solutions exhibit how retail customers can utilise the TXTPlanning 6.0  and TXTPLM 4.0 platforms on our mobile devices so key business insights are always close at hand."
