Teletrac - part of the Trafficmaster family, a 25-year veteran award-winning GPS fleet tracking and telematics software provider – has announced that its commercial telematics solution has made the shortlist for the Best Telematics Solution for Commercial Vehicles for the third year in a row by Telematics Update, a respected association within the fleet tracking industry.

The Telematics Update Awards annually recognise hard work, talent and success in the telematics industry. For this category, the winning company will have demonstrated a high standard of customer service, rapid application development and faultless integration and deployment. The judges' base their decision on the company that combines the following attributes: most cost effective benefits of the application, enhanced performance, customised fleet management services, innovative partnership and market channel strategy.

Expanding on an already award-winning platform, Teletrac was recognised for its submission of Fleet Director 9 and the innovative new features it has added to the industry. Three new aggressive enhancements to leading the market included: Safety Analytics and Event Replay, Business Intelligence Platform, and the Fleet Director Tablet.

The honour exemplifies Teletrac's rising achievements in the GPS fleet tracking space. "Our company talks every day about leading the way toward innovating GPS tracking and fleet automation. Even as we're focused on building best-in-class technology and launching new customers, it's always a pleasure to be recognised by other thought leaders in our space as one of the best," said Michael Jarvinen, Vice President of Marketing, Teletrac.

Teletrac's Fleet Director software platform churns through over 25 million robust data transactions daily, turning that information into industry-leading ways to slash company costs and promote safety, compliance and productivity.
