Peninsula Beverage Company satisfies thirst for Coca-Cola products with Logility Voyager Solutions

Logility Inc., supplier of collaborative solutions to optimise the supply chain, has announced Peninsula Beverage Company (PenBev), one of South Africa's bottlers and distributors of Coca-Cola products, has achieved impressive results following its implementation of Logility Voyager Solutions. Through the use of Logility's advanced supply chain management software, the company has increased forecast accuracy by 20 per cent at the item/plant level and is able to utilise the enhanced visibility and more accurate data to strengthen its sales and operations planning (S&OP) process.

As a company which relies on exceptional customer service as a catalyst for growth, PenBev realised it needed to better forecast demand and align its commercial, sales, and distribution teams with these forecasts. Since deploying Logility Voyager Solutions PenBev has centralised its demand planning, improved service levels and reduced inventory by 25 per cent while increasing on-time, in-full order fill rates from 94 per cent to 99 per cent.

With these improvements we are now able to focus on improving our collaboration to share forecasts across a broader business group."
