Gina@Work has been well established over 25 years and is one of the major clothing and workwear manufacturers and distributors in South Africa. After a meticulous consultation process, Gina@Work chose to partner with Syscom PLC, a Microsoft and Progress Partner based in the Midlands, UK, with an implementation of the specialist SyscomERP smart business software solution. SyscomERP smart is a real-time, centralised software solution that will operate throughout every aspect of the business including stock management, order processing including returns and consignment stock, manufacturing, sales analysis, procurement, product development, finance, wardrobe management and mobile sales (Syscom GoMobile).
Paul Joiner, Director of Gina@Work said: "We needed to ensure that our business systems will support our rapidly expanding company and the day-to-day changes in operations when they occur. As we are expanding into new areas, we require tighter control over our business processes to ensure that we continue to provide an excellent service to our customers. The project has been driven primarily by the benefits offered by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) under the Clothing and Textile Competitiveness Programme, whose objective is to convert South Africa into a world class manufacturing destination. Gina@Work control and monitor their clothing manufacturing processes in South Africa and the move to invest in SyscomERP smart strongly reflects their commitment to South African employment and the Manufacturing industry in general.
