Flostream Ltd. has chosen LocateIT Warehouse Management System from Clydebuilt Business Solutions to support strategic growth. Based in Berkshire, Flostream has been providing e –fulfiment and mailing services to a diverse customer base for over 25 years.
LocateIT has been chosen to replace an in house system to provide total warehouse control, from Goods In through pick to pack, and Despatch. LocateIT will provide a communications application to facilitate the automated electronic communication of Purchase and Sales Orders from Flostream's customers to ensure the delivery of the best possible integrated service. This helps to streamline processes and removes any possibility of administrative delay or error, with all following events processed automatically.
Flostream provides 3PL storage and value added services for many big name clients. All customers have varying requirements, including specialised requirements for file transfers. Clydebuilt staff have worked with Flostream and their customers to ensure that their existing work flow is matched and enhanced and that the e-fulfilment process is fast, efficient and accurate.
LocateIT WMS provides excellent warehouse management capabilities, including the ability to effectively monitor and keep track of various criteria such as Lot/Batch ISBN, etc. The new e-fulfilment application makes it even easier to cater for e-commerce demands for unique labelling requirements in specific delivery environments. It also has specific facility available for different courier and labelling requests.
Along with the core database element Flostream will be utilising the Order Manager to allow their staff to create and work with batches of orders, updating all of the order within a batch at the same time. This will also update customers system via a transaction on the FTP site. Clydebuilt Business Solutions' ReportIT will also be used to give Flostreams customers direct access to stock information over the web, in easily customised, easy to read report formats.
The project is underway and Clydebuilt is happy to welcome Flostream as a new customer, and look forward to the finished project that will be of benefit to both companies.
