Schad Ltd, the engineering mobility specialist, has expanded its leadership team with the appointment of Dave O'Reilly as its Global Alliances Director, a newly created senior management role. O'Reilly will be responsible for building Schad's global 'Go To Market' channel strategy for strategic partners, resellers, OEM's and system integrators.
Schad has adopted a channel partner business model to achieve its international expansion goals and the company reports that this strategy has already proven highly successful. Schad recently secured strategic partnerships with Vanderlande Industries and IBM to jointly market its integrated SCADA and mobile maintenance solution, Extend7000.
It has also signed an OEM contract with Vanderlande Industries for their Mobile Maintenance Solution (MMS) which is an integration of Extend7000 with IBM Maximo. The MMS product integrates unplanned SCADA and planned Maximo maintenance activity as a single workflow on any mobile device, allowing maintenance engineers to seamlessly navigate between SCADA alarms, Work Orders and Inspection Route activity.
O'Reilly has many years of senior management experience within the mobile working environment. Prior to joining Schad's leadership team, he was EMEA Managing Director at Voxware, a software developer, where he was responsible for continued growth of the company's sales and operations across the EMEA region.
O'Reilly commented: "Schad has offered me a very exciting role and the opportunity to work with a unique technology product. Extend7000 is attracting a huge amount of global interest from vendors, integration partners and end users looking to combine planned and unplanned maintenance activities on a single intuitive mobile platform. I am looking forward to joining the team and building on the great progress already made to extend our reach out to the international market."
James Hannay, Managing Director, Schad Ltd., said of the new appointment: "Dave O' Reilly is a very talented and entrepreneurial individual with a proven track record of helping high growth companies like Schad to exploit new opportunities. His mobile industry experience, commercial management skills and international channel development track record are exactly what Schad needs to help develop and roll out our partner strategy globally and build the Extend7000 installed base."
