Demand Management Inc., the global resource for supply chain management solutions, has announced its new Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) module for its DSX supply chain software that fully integrates sales and operations planning with demand forecasting and requirements planning.
DSX S&OP incorporates the company's 27-year heritage in supply chain management and was designed to meet Gartner's Stage 3 S&OP Architecture requirements. The Gartner Stage 3 S&OP Architecture calls for a single technology platform that includes supply chain modeling, scenario planning, financial reconciliation, performance management, workflow, hierarchy management and collaboration, all of which reflects the requirements of the Demand Solutions global customer base.
"We now offer Sales & Operations Planning software on a single technology platform that gives companies the ability to manage with a single view of the truth. Planners will no longer have to hand off their information to others during the S&OP process," said Bill Harrison, president of Demand Management. "DSX S&OP offers our customers the ability to spend their time on the strategic side of integrated business planning," he said.
Demand Solutions DSX S&OP features the most up-to-date forecast available as well as the S&OP forecast at any given time during the monthly S&OP process so that strategic decisions can factor in the actual forecast if needed.
