  • AEB will exhibit at stand 65

AEB (International) Ltd will be back at Logistics Link North, Northern England's leading logistics exhibition, for the second time in a row. At stand 65, visitors can find out more about ASSIST4, AEB's comprehensive supply chain management and global trade solutions suite for all logistics processes in global business.  They are also invited to take part in AEB's business card raffle for a chance to win an MP3 player.

Supply chain managers are facing the constant challenge to lower costs, increase quality and maximise efficiency. At Logistics Link North, AEB (International) Ltd will introduce the latest version of the ASSIST4 suite and explain how each solutions area assists in streamlining supply chain execution and saving costs at the same time.

The ASSIST4 solutions suite includes:

  • Visibility  & Collaboration Platform
  • Order Management
  • Warehouse Management
  • Transport & Freight Management
  • Customs Management
  • Compliance & Risk Management

Many companies run separate software systems for different parts of their supply chain operations. With ASSIST4, it is possible to operate a single system for end-to-end logistics, including international movements, allowing companies to standardise and automate their business processes in supply chain execution. The system provides for visibility throughout global supply chains and delivers a reliable basis for making the right decisions at the right time, from procurement and distribution to fulfilment.

During Logistics Link North, AEB will also introduce its latest white papers and solutions on the topic 'Lowering costs and increasing efficiency through smart freight management'.

Gursh Atwal, Sales Manager of AEB (International) Ltd, said: "Logistics Link North is a great opportunity to test and compare some of the industry's most innovative products and services.  Latest market reports from Transporeon and Capgemini show that transport prices have increased by 7.2% between the first and second quarter of 2012 and reducing supply chain transport costs has become ever more important. Our latest series of white papers on freight cost management details background information, challenges and options on the topic and has become 'must-read' literature for supply chain managers looking to improve their business. AEB is proud to participate in Logistics Link North once again, and we're looking forward to discussing how to cut costs and improve performance with logistics specialists at the show, not only in the area of transport and freight management, but also in all other areas of supply chain management, including WMS, Customs, Compliance and Collaboration."

Logistics Link North takes place at V3 Doncaster on 9th and 10th October 2012. Located at Firstpoint, a key business and distribution park in Doncaster, V3 consists of three high bay distribution units, providing a typical warehouse environment for the show.
