Supply chain IT company Balloon One will be exhibiting at this year's Autumn Fair held at Birmingham's NEC 2nd-5th September. The Autumn Fair is billed as the largest home and gift trade buying event of the season and Balloon One will be at hand in Hall 5, on stand M76, to discuss how its business software and integration expertise is helping companies such as luxury soft toy manufacturer Jellycat.

Balloon One will launch a new Internet-based business and warehouse management solution, which is ideally suited to mid-market and e-commerce sector suppliers. This is believed to be a first of its kind integration of the leading cloud computing business software NetSuite ERP with the powerful Accellos warehouse management system (WMS). This cost-effective solution is easy to implement and can use existing IT equipment.

Jellycat, which is also exhibiting (Hall/Stand: 3R04-S03), is benefiting from seamless integration between its SAP business software and its Accellos warehouse management system. The wireless system eliminates duplicated data and paper documentation and enables accurate stock management. The integrated solution gives full visibility of information across the business and has reduced administration time significantly, enabling Jellycat to recoup the cost of the system within one year.

"Accellos has significantly reduced the amount of time spent on back office administrative duties and has improved efficiency in warehouse operations. We have been able to re-assign staff from administrative functions to revenue generating functions, which has significantly reduced the need to bring in agency staff to meet demand at the warehouse during the busy seasonal peaks. These administrative savings have easily justified the capital expenditure within the first year," said Danny Olive, Finance Director, Jellycat.

Balloon One's Accellos WMS interfaces easily with existing enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, order management and other systems - such as SAP Business One and NetSuite, sharing the same database and eliminating the need for data duplication. The WMS has been developed for maximum flexibility to meet these different, individual requirements and is, therefore, very adaptable and scalable.
