VoiteQ, UK supplier of Voice-directed warehouse solutions, recently hosted its Voice User Group for a second year running. The customer event took place at Nailcote Hall near Birmingham. Following the success of its first User Group in 2011, the company took the opportunity to once again meet with customers, receive feedback, report on initiatives and R&D. Most importantly, attendees were provided with a means to network, share experiences and learn from each other.

With a growing portfolio of customers, delegates were able to hear the experiences and lessons-learnt from five leading brands: Brakes, Connect Distribution, Holland and Barrett, Allied Bakeries and Gist. Customers were also given the chance to receive best practice tips on labour management from one of the leading HR experts in the logistics industry – Simon Brookfield, managing director at Forbes HR and honorary advisor to the UK Warehousing Association (UKWA).

Furthermore, customers had the opportunity to catch up on the latest updates from Vocollect and discuss future product development ideas directly with the  Voice technology provider. They also had access to live product demonstrations from VoiteQ on its InfoCentre dashboard and reporting suite and of CLASS, the warehouse layout design and simulation tool from Cirrus Logistics.

"We were delighted with the level of interest around this event and feedback from the large number of attendees on the day was very positive. It's always really useful for both the VoiteQ and Vocollect teams to meet our customers face-to-face and it's a pleasure to hear everyone sharing their experiences," commented David Stanhope, CEO of VoiteQ.

"Events like our Voice User Group are a great way in getting customers together under one roof and to discover new development ideas. It was also clear from the feedback we received, that our partnership approach to working with our customers is a welcomed change in the industry, and as such it's not only providing winning results for us but for our customers too. All of the five customer presentations reported impressive benefits and cost savings from having a quality, tailored Voice solution for their operations."

"VoiteQ's 2012 Voice User Group day offered us a valuable opportunity to engage directly with some of our key customers. Events such as these enable us to see the power of Vocollect Voice in helping companies address their key business challenges – feedback was very positive, and the day was a great success all round," said Matt Gregory, business development manager UK and Ireland, Vocollect EMEA.
