Zetes, PEAK Technologies, and Schmidt are leading providers of Auto-ID and Supply Chain Solutions.  With operations in EMEA, North America and Asia, the companies have combined their Auto-ID expertise and extended networks to form GUiDE in 2010, a strategic alliance offering multinational customers a coherent approach to address their supply chain automation needs. The alliance's website was launched recently at www.guide-autoid.com.
On the website, companies looking for a global partner for their supply chain related issues will easily find more information about the wide range of solutions and services (including barcode, Voice, RFID, printing, ERP Integration and mobile/wireless technologies), as well as an office locator tool to identify GUiDE network offices near their local subsidiaries and links to each partner's respective website.

Comprehensive and compatible solutions and skill-sets

Alain Wirtz, CEO of Zetes, commented: "The GUiDE alliance responds to a need expressed by customers in Retail, Logistics and Manufacturing. As we are counting an ever-increasing number of global companies amongst our customers, we need to assure them of solid service levels and roll-out possibilities beyond Europe. "
Klaus Festl, Managing Director of Schmidt, said: "Zetes, PEAK and Schmidt have a similar history, experience and structure and are therefore very complementary, which enables us to leverage our expertise to offer a full spectrum of comprehensive Automatic Identification and Data Capture (AIDC) and mobile computing solutions in the global marketplace. Riding on this established and proven partnership, the joint-force undoubtedly create favorable synergies on driving time and cost efficient operations in various supply chains across multiple disciplines worldwide. And as a responsible partner for the Asia Pacific region, Schmidt will demonstrate the highest level of commitment to provide all-round local support."
Ross Young, CEO of PEAK concluded: "From a global point of view, there are very few alternatives that exist providing the same expertise in supply chain automation and integration as the GUIDE alliance. Customers engaged with GUIDE can expect a consistent approach to their supply chain integration strategies within their SAP enterprise architecture. In addition, GUIDE ensures customers full transparency, consistent Service Level Agreements (SLA's) and rapid response time at a global level."
