VoiteQ has invested in a Chicago office as a USA base to support new and existing customers in the North American market. Recruitment has been carried out to help meet the ambitious expansion plans for the region, as a result of a significant increase in interest in their solutions which help retailers, manufacturers, distributors and 3PLs to optimise their operations, via the IT company's voice directed work solutions.

VoiteQ exhibited at the NA 2010 North American Material Handling show last year and at the PROMAT 2011 Material Handling show earlier this year, to meet existing customers, prospective new customers and potential partners in the industry. VoiteQ has also signed a reseller agreement with Vocollect to allow them to work as a partner to sell and implement Vocollect Voice solutions across North America having been a leading partner in Europe for over 10 years. Vocollect voice is the world's leading solution for voice-directed operations and is used by the majority of North America's retailers, Vocollect, who has already developed a substantial Voice user base in the USA, including Giant Eagle, Harvard Drug Group LLC, Pep Boys and Sport Chalet.

Having developed the world's first fully Voice-controlled warehouse management system (WMS) as long ago as 1998, the VoiteQ team has since then VoiteQ has continued to provide industry leading Voice-directed solutions, enabling hands-free and eyes-free warehouse working, resulting in a smoother, more continuous operation, increasing productivity and accuracy.

VoiteQ can provide a wide range of options for Voice-enabling operations including direct interfaces to all major WMS solutions, including SAP, RedPrairie, Manhattan, Infor, Aquitec and Highjump, as well as voice-enabling any WMS via Vocollect's Voicelink or VoiteQ's own middleware application, VoiceMan. VoiceMan provides not only a wide range of picking functionality but alsp allows Fork Lift Truck operatives to carry out Putaway, Replenishment, Pallet Moves and Stock counts all on a 'Real Time' basis, interacting with Picking to provide just in-time replenishments, and therefore ensuring high availability, on a batch-based legacy warehouse management system (WMS). All achieved with no significant modifications to the incumbent system due to VoiteQ's functionally rich middleware.

David Stanhope, CEO for VoiteQ and CentriQ Group concluded, "Voice directed solutions are already well proven worldwide, but until now VoiteQ has had few projects in North America, which is something we are now in a position to remedy, with numerous successful implementations under our belts and a team focused on this market. The feedback from both exhibitions we have attended so far and the prospects generated, has been extremely encouraging and there is clearly a significant demand for our solutions in the North American market, so we're looking forward to focusing on expanding our business across the region."
