Epicor Software Corporation, the business software solutions provider for manufacturing, distribution, retail and services organisations, has announced that Epicor and its next-generation enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution have earned distinguished honouuree medals for Computer Software Company of the Year and Best New Computer Software Product or Service of the Year in The 2011 International Business Awards. The International Business Awards are the only global, all-encompassing business awards programme honouring great performances in business.

Honorees for the International Business Awards were selected from more than 3,000 entries received from organizations and individuals in more than 40 nations. Organizations all over the world are eligible to compete in The International Business Awards, and can enter in any of more than 40 categories from Company of the Year and Best New Product of the Year to Corporate Social Responsibility Program of the Year and Executive of the Year. Honourees were determined through two rounds of judging by close to 200 professionals worldwide.

Nicknamed the Stevie for the Greek word "crowned," the awards will be presented to honourees at a gala event on Tuesday, October 11, 2011, in the Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
