The GX-8900 is a feature-rich, extremely rugged (IP65 & 1.5m drop spec) Enterprise Class PDA. Ideally suited for pre-sales, merchandising, field sales/service and logistics organisations. The integrated scanner, camera and flash, GPS and phone eliminate the need for users having to carry multiple devices. The onboard Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and 3.5G data communications connect your workforce to head office whenever and wherever they might be for real time business information exchange. The cost effective GX-8900 can streamline business processes making it an affordable tool to both corporate and SME operations.

Industry-leading drop test capability, IP65 sealing and integrated antennas give the product 'rugged' credentials that are not typical of PDA class devices. Lightweight high impact plastics mean that the unit is built for year-round use in nearly any environment. The unit has Microsoft's latest operating system, Windows Mobile 6.5, pre-installed which provides several significant benefits, namely;

Increased interoperability with existing infrastructure
enhanced security features
more flexible development platform
 improved mobile messaging collaboration

With a choice of 2D CMOS Imager, laser barcode scanner (upon request) or RFID reader (LF, HF and UHF options) the GX-8900 is the perfect productivity tool for optimising a company's field workforce.
