Dexion Storage Solutions selects Epicor ERP

Epicor Software Corporation has announced that Romanian manufacturer Dexion Storage Solutions will implement its Epicor 9 next-generation enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution. Dexion plans to integrate its business processes with Epicor, from financials and production planning to customer management.

Dexion chose Epicor for its local expertise, the software's compliance with Romanian legislations and regulations, as well as Epicor's business solutions being an ideal functional fit with Dexion's complex requirements.

"In view of Dexion's constant growth and development in the Romanian market, we realized that we needed a powerful solution to help us manage our accounting, supply and manufacturing processes, as well as our customer contacts," said Brian Howson, general manager for Dexion Storage Solutions. Part of the international Constructor Group, Dexion started its business in Romania in 2006, establishing modern factory facilities in Rasnov, Brasov county. Dexion specialises in designing, manufacturing and selling various storage systems, from pallet racking to archive solutions. The Rasnov based factory also manufactures solutions especially designed for the local market such as two types of console shelving for long goods, various handling solutions, as well as custom-made accessories.
