Vanderlande Industries demonstrates innovative material handling solutions at CeMAT 2011

The logistics world is looking forward to the CeMAT 2011, the worlds leading fair for integrated systems solutions for materials handling and logistics. The CeMAT will be held from 2-6 May 2011 in Hannover (Germany).

Vanderlande Industries presents several innovative material handling solutions at CeMAT, including PICK@EASE  item picking workstation, a fully Automated Case Picking (ACP) solution for retail and the VISION Warehouse Management System. These solutions enable companies to improve their supply chain and streamline their warehouse operations. Vanderlande can be found in Hall 27, stand J34.

PICK@EASE
Vanderlande will present its goods-to-man item picking concept CPS with the PICK@EASE workstation, which is especially suited to the slower moving items in the product range. With this high performance ergonomic workstation, operators can achieve a sustainable high performance of 900 order lines per hour with a learning curve of less than 10 minutes. An Ergonomics Workshop will take place on the stand. With the Excense Suit, visitors can see sustainable performance in a given situation immediately. With the Virtual Reality Ergomix, visitors themselves can test how certain types of workstations impact sustainable performance.

Automated Case Picking (ACP)
Vanderlande will also demonstrate a fully Automated Case Picking solution especially developed to handle full cases in retail distribution centres. With ACP, a reduction of 40% in order picking costs per case can be achieved.

VISION Warehouse Management System (WMS)
The VISION Control Room shows the capabilities of the Warehouse Management System. It provides all the required functionalities to manage the various warehouse processes. It includes a Business Process Intelligence module to continuously work on process improvements.
