JDA Software Group, Inc. has announced that European retailer HEMA has selected a number of space planning solutions from the JDA Category Management suite, including JDA Space Planning, JDA Space Automation, JDA Intactix Knowledge Base and JDA Planogram Generator to help improve shelf-level planning and increase shopper satisfaction.
HEMA is an international retail organisation with more than 550 stores in the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, France and Germany. Customer-friendly and with a unique profile, HEMA distinguishes itself from other general merchandise retailers by selling its own line of fashionable private-label products.
HEMA selected JDA space planning solutions to help rationalize its store layouts, automate its merchandising based on pre-defined policies, differentiate assortments based on local preferences and better anticipate consumer demand.
