RedPrairie Corporation, a productivity solutions provider, has announced that Argo International Forwarders, the global cargo forwarding company with over PHP 800 million in revenues in 2010, has selected RedPrairie's Warehouse Management solution to replace the company's manual stock card and spreadsheet system.

Argo has reportedly seen substantial growth in the past two years. According to the company, it now generates nearly six times the revenue it did in 2008 and needed a solution to help maximise the utilisation of company resources, including manpower, space, and material handling equipment.

"RedPrairie's reputation as a leading global WMS provider gave us confidence in their ability to serve all of our company's needs," says Efren P. Zoleta, Jr., Argo President and General Manager. "We will consider Warehouse Management to be our primary tool in directing all our warehousing resources, including both equipment tasks and processes."

Argo is expecting to have the system implemented before the end of 2010. The company will use Warehouse Management for all of its core business processes, including warehouse operation, freight forwarding, and global distribution.

"Our organisation is proud to call a number of leading global logistics providers like ARGO our customers," says Rod Talbot, RedPrairie Managing Director, Asia-Pacific. "We congratulate all of those businesses for continuing to provide progressive, client-focused service.
