Handheld announces the New Nautiz eTicket Pro

TheHandheld Group has introduced the all new Nautiz eTicket Pro rugged PDAwith an integrated smart card reader. The built in reader complies withthe latest e-ticketing requirements in public transport, supporting abroad range of contactless standards, including the entire Mifarefamily. The integrated smart card reader has been developed anddesigned by Arcontia, a supplier of smart card readers for the PublicTransportation market. The reader is compliant with ISO 14443 A/B, ISO18092 and also supports NFC for mobile applications, smart posters andtickets, including both passive reader mode and active peer to peer(P2P) mode.
 

The Nautiz eTicket Pro rugged PDA comeswith an 806 MHz processor and advanced features such as integrated 3mega-pixel camera with autofocus, integrated 2D imager, WLAN,Bluetooth, 3G cellular capabilities, and GPS. The operating system isWindows Mobile 6.1 and the product comes with 256 MB RAM and 512 MBbuilt-in Flash storage. The Nautiz eTicket Pro has 3 integrated SecureAccess Model (SAM) slots which can work in parallel, independently ofeach other, for extended performance. The rechargeable 4400 mAh Li-ionbattery provides more than a full day's work on a single charge. Thetransflective VGA colour display and touch screen provide sharp andclear resolution even while working outdoors.

TheNautiz eTicket Pro is the latest addition to a portfolio of Handheldpublic transportation products including the M3 eTicket and NautizeTicket. The Nautiz eTicket will be on display at InnoTrans in Berlin,Germany 21-24 September and is available immediately.
