Epicor Software Corporation, provider of enterprise business software solutions for the midmarket and divisions of Global 1000 companies, will be exhibiting at Aero Engineering 2010, the aerospace engineering suppliers fair and congress. The event will take place 29-30 September, 2010 at the NEC, Birmingham, with Epicor exhibiting its next-generation enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution, Epicor 9, at stand 520.

Epicor will also be presenting in the free to attend Open Technology Session at 13:10 on 29 September. In this session, delegates can learn from Mark Hughes, sales director, how ERP technology can support enhanced quality management and waste reduction within aerospace industries, through centralised information.

Epicor's innovative and flexible solutions are based on Web 2.0 and True SOA technologies with an affordable pricing model that suits medium-sized companies. Due to the highly flexible technology Epicor offers low total cost of ownership. The decisive factor for this is not an initially low purchase price but the various factors that make Epicor affordable to run in the long-term such as its service-oriented architecture (SOA), which allows users to easily customize the system. Furthermore, with its unique Shared Benefits program Epicor splits the financial risks and cost savings of an ERP implementation project with customers.

Epicor's next-generation ERP solution has garnered international recognition with more than a dozen awards and honors since its launch in 2008. In addition to the IT Innovation Award received at CeBIT 2010, Epicor also recently won an award for second-tier "ERP Solution of the Year" from e-Finance magazine in Romania, and a 2010 Product Innovation Award from Network Products Guide in the US.

This event builds on the success of the inaugural Aero Engineering 2009 event in Manchester, where some 800-plus companies and organisations from across the UK aerospace engineering supply chain participated. Aero Engineering 2010, in its new 'central UK' location, expects to attract engineering teams from all sides of the UK aerospace industry. A unique attendance of primes/tier 1 to tiers 2 - 4 and supporting supply groups will offer a showcase environment for specialist technologies and service industry supply groups on the show floor.
