Logistics software and warehouse equipment solution provider, Savoye, will equip cosmetics company Sisleys new mechanised logistic site in Saint-Ouen-lAumne, France.  Sisley is leaving its premises in Gennevilliers (in northern Paris) for Saint-Ouen-lAumne, to the north west of the capital. Early in 2011, the French company, the leader in top-of-the-range cosmetics, will move into new premises on a 13-hectare site in the Bthunes business park. The site will bring together administrative services, as well as its logistic centres and R&D in a 45.000m2 building.

The consultancy firm ELCIMA, who SISLEY appointed with the project and the design of the entire logistic process, the supplier calls for tender and the follow-up of the implementation, assisted the luxury cosmetics specialist throughout the consultation process. This approach resulted in them choosing Savoye. The latter will ensure the implementation of the mechanised solutions: split case and full case preparation line, an automatic launching station, 3 labellers, weight checking, crosswise strapping and automatic sorting systems which allow loads to be made up for delivery the World over (90 countries delivered). The site will be equipped with PAC 600 machines (Savoyes leading packaging line) including a box erector, two tunnels and two lidding machines.

The new facility will have the capacity to prepare 1500 split case boxes and sort 1700 boxes per hour, all managed by Savoyes bespoke WCS and with the WMS part provided by SAPs ERP. The installation will be operational in January 2011.
