The CourierSoft package consists of CourierSoft Office and CourierSoft Mobile, providing a complete set of office and field based courier operational services. CourierSoft Office gives courier companies visibility of parcels, vehicles and personnel in real-time. Once a call is logged, the softwares advanced resource management allocates the best suitable vehicle and driver. With its integrated GPS locator, dispatchers can use birds-eye, satellite or street maps to select the courier closest to the client for pick-ups, improving customer response times while also reducing mileage-related costs. Call details are then communicated via the CourierSoft data centre to the drivers CourierSoft Mobile (PDA).
CourierSoft Mobile embraces satellite navigation and mobile technology to allow visibility of field operations through CourierSoft Office. The PDA uses a wireless internet connection but can work offline. It allows the driver to log on, view deliveries and collections and capture signatures.
