Brookson steps up sales with Microsoft Dynamics CRM

Accountancy firm Brookson has purchased the latest in customer relationship management (CRM) software from K3 Business Technology Group (K3).

The new Microsoft Dynamics CRM system will be used as cost-effective Software as a Service (SaaS) solution hosted by specialist managed services company 7global. Brookson will use the system to drive new business through highly structured sales and marketing campaigns. It is anticipated that the system will assist the company to grow its customer base from the current 9,000 freelance contractors and self-employed individuals to 16,000 clients.

The new SaaS system replaces an in-house bespoke solution and is a major step forward in technology for the Warrington-based firm. It will integrate seamlessly with Brooksons other Microsoft applications, such as its email and database systems. This will provide a unique technological platform to support and focus the companys sales efforts, allowing much greater levels of organisation so that each campaign is performed systematically.

K3 will provide full support and training, with 7global hosting the software at its secure data centres. The first phase of the implementation began at the end of June with 30 outbound sales personnel using the system. The software will then be customised further prior to a phase two rollout to a total of 160 staff. The implementation also includes integration with SharePoint and the provision of dashboards to show key performance indicators.
