Four Soft Limited (4S), a global leader offering software solutions for transportation and logistics industry, has announced that its web-based software solution 4S eCustoms SAGITTA has been certified by the Netherlands customs authorities, for Sagitta Import and Export compliance.
This has been achieved by intense testing efforts between Four Softs and the Netherlands customs applications. All the modules of 4S eCustoms SAGITTA are designed to meet the national and local proactive regulatory customs filing, compliance and documentation requirements of freight forwarders, logistics providers, and customs brokerage companies.

Sagitta is an automated declaration platform for handling custom affairs for Import and Export shipments in the Netherlands. Later last year Four Softs Customs software for EU Customs also got certified successfully for The New Computerized Transit System (NCTS) which is an EU-wide computer system that enables traders to submit Community, Common Transit (CT) declarations electronically for community movement.
Earlier this year, Four Softs customs software for US customs, 4S eCustoms AES (Automated Export System) had also obtained government certification for its online import and export customs filing. All the above software applications can be used as a stand-alone system or together with other freight forwarding applications, for customs filing activities. These applications are designed to enable easy data-sharing between the logistics, freight forwarding ERP systems and customs service partners with a simple interface enabled between these and the government customs systems. Benefits of implementing these applications include reduction of buffer stocks - owing to better importing processes, informed sourcing decision, and reduction of import duties due to appropriate product classification and to ensure user compliance with the protocols.
