HighJump Software, a global provider of supply chain execution solutions, has announced that its warehouse management system (WMS) is delivering real-time inventory and order fulfillment visibility at VIP Computer Center Ltd (VIP). The UKs largest independent distributor of PC components and peripherals required an adaptable WMS that would bring overall operational efficiencies to its 64,000 square-foot distribution centre in Warrington, Cheshire.

Rob Buchan, Logistics Manager at VIP, said, HighJump Warehouse Advantage is a valuable tool for VIP, providing visibility for tracking orders and enabling management to monitor staff performance across functional areas. Ultimately, the HighJump WMS drives efficiency and gives VIP the ability to adopt more sophisticated WMS capabilities as we grow.

HighJump Warehouse Advantage was selected following a rigorous evaluation process conducted by a dedicated VIP implementation team. VIP is committed to providing a flexible and reliable distribution service to its customers, ranging from small independent retailers and e-tailers to major chain stores, therefore the WMS needed to offer the functionality and adaptability to react to ever-changing customer requirements. The HighJump WMS aids in efficient order route-planning and improves warehouse pick accuracy. Management is able to monitor and evaluate order fulfillment in real-time to ensure customers are receiving the highest levels of service, including advance order status information, improved shipment documentation and competitive pricing.

VIPs selection of HighJump Warehouse Advantage demonstrates HighJumps ability to manage large and complex warehouse operations, as well as strengthens our presence in the European WMS market, said Timothy Campbell, President and CEO, HighJump Software.
