Specialist planning and scheduling software company, Preactor International, has announced a continuation of its sustained growth with a surge in sales in 2008.
This represents a 21% increase over 2007, which in itself was a record year, and equates to a further 250 companies comprising Small to Medium size Enterprises (SMEs) right up to global brands. Sectors showing a notable increase include food and beverage, pharmaceuticals and life sciences in addition to those companies which supply these industries such as packaging.
Feedback from Preactors global partner network, which itself grew significantly in 2008 and now comprises over 425 companies, has identified the speed with which Preactor is typically implemented combined with the rapid delivery of cost savings as being precisely what manufacturers are looking for in the current economic climate. It has also identified that manufacturers are increasingly likely to invest in solutions that have a proven reputation for results within their industry.
Mike Novels, President and CEO comments, More than ever, manufacturers irrespective of size, need a fast and positive impact on their profitability from their IT investments as well as to retain and even increase their competitiveness. This extends to large multi-national companies which may have many localised sites of varying size and complexity but which require a consistent group-wide solution. The fact that Preactor can be quickly implemented across multiple sites using local expertise brings not just fast results at individual sites but to the group as a whole.
