Zycko, award winning international distributor of leading edge IT solutions, has selected Strategix OneOffice, the supply chain software and business management platform, to supply and implement its solution in a multinational rollout initially in nine offices across Europe, Africa and North America.
Zycko distributes for over 35 leading IT solutions vendors, enabling its 3,000 plus reseller, systems integrator and service provider customers to deliver best-in-class open-system convergent solutions to customers around the world. Zycko now delivers convergent solutions that touch every part of the business' IT infrastructure - including Accessories & Components, Data Centre, Data Networking, Data Storage and Voice & Video; and offers its channel incomparable professional services and business development support.
Operating from 13 offices on 4 continents, with over 250 staff, Zycko achieves annual sales of over $180m, and continues to grow.
Concluding that growth was being constrained by its existing business management platform, Zycko set out to find a scalable and proven replacement IT solution that could support planned business development and growth across its multinational operations. Importantly, to contain costs during this expansion, the chosen solution also needed to drive operational efficiencies into the business through the introduction of a series of streamlined processes, in particular a sophisticated method for managing the complexities of holding stock within one main business unit while making it available for direct sale to customers through all of its subsidiaries with very low touch administration.
