HighJump Software, a global provider of supply chain execution solutions, has announced the purchase of Insight Distribution Software from Coaxis, Inc., a software development and management company. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Insight Distribution Software is a leading provider of enterprise software solutions for the food and beverage distribution industries. The product suite for distributors includes the RouteCenter, RoutePad and Playbook applications which are based on a modern technical architecture and support easy configuration to meet the diverse operational needs of food and beverage distributors.
RouteCenter helps distributors manage todays growing mix of products, customers and pricing with complete utilities for managing customer orders, dispatching, load processing and settlement.
Playbook is a best-in-class retail sales execution, objective management, and survey software solution. Utilizing real-time sales and account specific data, Playbook helps distributors quickly build and implement effective sales strategies. Sales teams can set and track objectives and goals easily, allowing them to execute more efficiently in the field.
RoutePad is a mobile application that improves the effectiveness of route delivery drivers and mobile sales professionals. The solution supports streamlining of daily processes, accurate invoicing and field order capture.
Insight Distribution Software is recognised as a leading technology provider by several industry suppliers. Both Anheuser-Busch and Miller Brewing Company selected Insight as a Strategic Partner, the highest rating from both suppliers for route accounting software vendors.

Insight Distribution Software has 123 customers and operations in Portland, Oregon and Hunt Valley, Maryland. HighJump Software plans to consolidate Insights operations in Hunt Valley as part of the acquisition integration process.
