Exact has released Exact Event Manager version 7.5, giving customers greater ability to monitor business activities and react to exceptions in a timely manner.

Event Manager Version 7.5 has been redesigned with a graphic user interface and a robust Microsoft SQL Server database platform, providing increased scalability, speed and flexibility. Event Manager is certified to work with Windows Vista, and supports both Microsoft SQL Server 2000 and 2005.

Utilizing the latest in Microsoft technology, Event Manager 7.5 can help businesses proactively monitor enterprise data for changes and alert staff, partners and customers early on, allowing them to address critical issues before it is too late to respond. In addition to detecting changes, Event Manager 7.5 monitors the business for non-changes such as frequent buyers who havent made recent purchases or partners who havent been engaged within the past 60 days.

Unlike simple alerting solutions that send out email reminders, Event Manager 7.5 includes a new graphic Event Design Module and Navigator, multi-step Job Streams, and an Advanced Calculation Wizard, providing the ability to quickly define new event triggers, responses and alert recipients without the need for programming or SQL expertise. Exact Manager 7.5 streamlines form and document delivery (such as invoice generation), pushes critical information to Web portals, automates execution of workflow to schedule follow-up activities, and creates customized responses to any number of important changes to a customers business.

In keeping with industry-standard protocols, Event Manager 7.5 supports Microsoft Outlook email, Lotus Notes Mail, and Internet (SMTP) for alerts and monitoring / auto-processing of incoming email messages and web form submissions. It includes integration with Microsoft Fax and browser-based alerts through Microsoft Internet Explorer. In addition, activity, trend and forecast reports can be scheduled or triggered in real-time utilizing Crystal Reports output in any desired format.  Reports can be created centrally and distributed globally via HTML pages, email, fax, or ftp.

Event Manager 7.5 seamlessly integrates with any number of Exact Software solutions, including Exact Globe, Exact Synergy, Exact Synergy Enterprise and Exact Macola ES to provide an end-to-end solution that covers the detection of critical business events all the way through the creation, assignment, and tracking of business processes and tasks in a shared workgroup environment.
