European telecommunications company selects IFS

A leading European telecommunications company has signed a contract to use IFS Applications business software to support its operations.

Within the framework of the project, which has started, IFS will provide consulting services and IFS Applications licenses with an expected total value, including options, of 8 million. Contracted license revenue amounts to over 1 million in 2008.

IFS prioritizes the telecom and utilities markets and has more than 150 customers involved in the industry. IFS Applications supports planning and forecasting, improves efficiency and control in day-to-day operations and integrates project, asset and facilities management with contract management, workforce management, supply chain management and business intelligence.

Customers include telecom operators and network construction & maintenance providers such as NetCom (Norway), Chunghwa Telecom (Taiwan), Telsul (Brazil), Eltel Networks (Nordic and Baltic), MTN (Nigeria and South Africa) and Teracom (Sweden).
