CDC Software launches business intelligence application for CDC Supply Chain

CDC Software, a wholly owned subsidiary of CDC Corporation and a provider of industry-specific enterprise software applications and business services, has released their latest business intelligence solution, EPM Warehouse, which enables customers using supply chain management software to make faster and more informed decisions by analysing logistics transactional data.

The solution is a packaged application that integrates with many supply chain management systems to provide companies with extended warehouse management capabilities.

EPM Warehouse eliminates guesswork, providing users with insight into business questions through a number of key performance indicators for receiving, shipping, picking and warehouse utilisation.

Data is delivered through intuitive visual dashboards and reports, which can be customised to suit the individual needs of companies. For instance, EPM Warehouse enables companies to identify which of their suppliers are not performing in terms of correct delivery times or quantities; monitor and identify which warehouse-floor pickers are underperforming or those that are outperforming and should be rewarded; and compare the performance metrics of individual warehouses.

We are very pleased to introduce such a strong business intelligence tool into the CDC Supply Chain suite of offerings, said Mats Nordgren, director of Product Management, CDC Supply Chain, at CDC Software, EPM Warehouse Management enables companies to quickly identify opportunities to improve their business processes and to reduce excess costs.  It also helps companies improve the efficiency and effectiveness of their decision making, ultimately positively impacting profitability.
