Exel announces strategic changes

Exel Computer Systems, author and developer of the EFACS ERP system, has announced with immediate effect a strategic restructuring of its leadership team.

The long planned changes build on the companys strengths to date while positioning it for continued future growth and success.

As founder of Exel, Dr John Ellis has acted as Managing Director since 1985 and is arguably one of the most knowledgeable figures in the world of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software. The widely respected industry leader will continue to play an active strategic role in the company from his new position of Chairman while also enjoying being able to spend more time with his family.

The role of Managing Director will be taken by Rue Dilhe (pictured) who has in excess of 13 years experience within the company at many different levels, most recently as the head of implementation consultation. As such he has a deep and insightful understanding both of customers requirements and how best to implement EFACS in order to meet these needs.

Speaking of his new position, Dr Ellis commented, I am delighted to be able to pass over the role of MD to such a successor in Rue Dilhe and firmly believe that this will only add to the strength of our company and ability to best serve the interests of our customers both present and future. Our present software has a powerful and novel structure and has features that will stand Exel in good stead in the market for the foreseeable future. Rue Dilhe likewise commented, Exel has remained focussed and committed to delivering cutting edge technology solutions ever since John founded the company over 20 years ago.
