T. Choithram & Sons, an international wholesaler, has chosen G.O.L.D. Shop from Aldata, one of the global leaders in supply chain software for retail, wholesale and logistics companies, to manage its stores in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

During the second-half of 2008, T. Choithram & Sons will open new hypermarkets in the region and has selected Aldatas G.O.L.D. Shop software to manage its back-office operations. The wholesaler has other ongoing hypermarket projects and G.O.L.D. Shop will be used for all retail outlets following this format. The company is also reviewing whether to replace its in-house developed supply chain software with the G.O.L.D. suite to manage its other retail and warehouse formats.

"Aldatas G.O.L.D. Shop has already proven itself in the area of retail commerce, and particularly in the food sector, and is already used by most of our colleagues. As T. Choithram & Sons wishes to work with a company which has significant experience in this area, we contacted KOL Corporation FZ-LLC, Aldatas partner in the Gulf region, to benefit from the best practices on the market and thus reduce implementation time", indicates M. Manoj Thanwani, Import & Hypermarket Project manager, T. Choithram & Sons.
