SYSteam chooses IBS User Interface

IBS has signed an agreement with leading Nordic IT consulting company, SYSteam. The deal regards the rights to implement the IBS User Interface for SYSteams TRYGG/2000 software solution for the hardware, building and paint industry.

SYSteam is a turnkey-solution IT supplier that offers services in management, engineering, business systems, systems development/integration as well as technical infrastructure and operation. SYSteam provides complete solutions to small and mid-sized companies and specialized services aimed at large companies and specific industries, including SME. With insight into customers business and processes, along with extensive knowledge of technology, SYSteam is able to deliver real business benefits. SYSteam, owned by the Norwegian ErgoGroup, has offices and subsidiaries in more than 50 locations in the Nordic region and some 1 030 employees.

We looked into various solutions in terms of a new Windows user interface for our TRYGG/2000 software. A modern look was one of the major parameters in our choice. At the same time, we also need to provide our customers with increased functionality through the interface. Our final choice includes both these elements; it is completely modern and has functionality that will deliver added value to our customers. Another important reason for our decision is that the solution has a proven track record and is already widely used with systems of similar technology. SYSteam has secured the right to implement the IBS User Interface in a strategic deal entered into with IBS and will be able to offer the solution to many of their customers in the retail industry.

SYSteam Retail is one of the leading Nordic suppliers of solutions for the Retail Industry, with their software solution based on TRYGG/2000. With the Java User Interface from IBS, SYSteam will be able to continue their delivery of world-class solutions. The deal also includes the possibility for SYSteam to resell and implement IBS Enterprise Financials with the same look and feel. This is a good opportunity for SYSteam to open up new geographical markets where IBS has already localized their software with domestic legal requirements and languages.
