S&T and JDA Software enter the Central and Eastern Europe Demand and Supply Chain Optimisation market
S&T, a leading IT consulting, solutions and services provider, has entered into a strategic Value Added Reseller agreement (VAR) with JDA Software, Inc. in order to reinforce its market position through the promotion, sale and implementation of JDA Softwares leading demand and supply chain solutions in Central and Eastern Europe.
Through this agreement, both companies will join forces to provide a set of software solutions and services capable of addressing the infrastructure and demand and supply chain solution needs of national and international retailers, wholesalers and consumer goods manufacturers. This agreement covers mature markets in countries such as Germany, Austria and Switzerland, as well as fast-growing emerging markets in countries such as Russia, Poland, Bulgaria, Romania and Turkey.

Retail and Related Industries Investing Substantially in IT Solutions
Marketing research company PAC expects the consumer goods and retail industries, which are under strong pressure in terms of costs and competition, to see above average investment in IT solutions in 2008*.
