ORTEMS release 7.30 APS solution launched

ORTEMS, a leading provider of APS (Advanced Planning & Scheduling) solutions, announces ORTEMS release 7.30 based on a dynamic comprehensive model covering the various aspects of advanced production planning and scheduling (MPS, PP, MRP, production scheduling).

ORTEMS release 7.30 provides a solution in addition to ERP platforms to simultaneously improve the customer service rate and operational excellence.

ORTEMS Manufacturing Planner (MP)

ORTEMS Manufacturing Planner is the next generation in production planning tools that enable optimizing MPS and Production Planning.

Incorporation of a manufacturing order model, a continuous time bucket (bucketless planning) and synchronization of flows forms an innovative approach to MRP production planning by synchronizing ERP in an identical, integrated model. This concept enables managing production and inventories at finite capacity through medium/long-term proactive production management; in the past production and inventories were managed by a short-term push mode.

ORTEMS Synchronized Resource Planner (SRP)

ORTEMS Synchronized Resource Planner provides innovative technology to optimize the MRP process. The Synchronized MRP engine enables pull production that matches customer lead times while accelerating and improving production flow synchronization throughout all levels of the BOM. Optimal responsiveness is achieved thanks to a dynamic calculation of material supply links and alerts in the event of flow problems.

ORTEMS Production Scheduler provides the production scheduling solution that offers the best balance between deadline and manufacturing performance while complying with industry specific requirements. The Production Scheduler's technology combines more than 70 optimization criteria and takes into account the breakdown of resources (machines, tools, personnel and materials).
