IBS, developers of ERP software IBS Enterprise and Enterprise Application Integration software IBS Integrator, announced an agreement with aerospace equipment manufacturer Creuzet Aronautique.

Creuzet Aronautique has chosen IBS Integrator software to manage orders and procurement plans that are made available to customers via their own portals. IBS Integrator converts files for transmitting to ERP system.

An increasing number of aircraft manufacturers are abandoning electronic data interchange (EDI) in favor of handling orders through a supplier portal. For them, this process results in much more efficient collaboration, increased responsiveness and a significant reduction in costs. Items that are made available are firm orders, procurement plans and technical aspects for the QA Department and the Methods Office.

To avoid having to do unnecessary data input work (inputting orders and procurement plans), Creuzet Aronautique looked for a solution that could automatically convert files sent via portals for use in its ERP system.

The first project, in collaboration with sister company Indraero Siren, dealt with processing files sent by the Airbus portal Sup@irworld. After receiving and verifying the files, both companies wanted to automatically transfer these into their ERP systems. The companies were won over by IBS Integrators ease of implementation and its wide range of connectors that allow communication with the many disparate systems they use.

From now on, Creuzet Aronautique will retrieve information from customer portals electronically (often in XML or TXT format), and will no longer need to print hard copies. The logistics coordinator transfers the files into the designated directory on Creuzet Aronautiques servers. IBS Enterprise Application Integration software converts these files into an ERP-compatible format (DB400). All processing is automated.

In addition, IBS Integration software seamlessly recovers orders and procurement plans sent via e-mail by other customers (Latcore). IBS Integrator automatically collects attachments that meet the criteria for orders and procurement plans, and processes each of them in the same way for importation into the ERP system.

During the project, Creuzet Aronautique discovered IBS Integrators greatly expanded functionalities that enabled and extended its use to other applications such as the implementation of an interface between the ERP software and business applications.

Mr. Lafagne, IT Manager at Creuzet Aronautique, believes that his company made a wise choice in terms of opportunities, IBS Integrator meets our needs perfectly. Its an easy-to-use solution with a wide range of functionality. We also expect to deploy this system across all our customer portals and the business applications that need to be interfaced with our ERP systems.

IBS first implemented the solution for Airbuss Sup@irworld portal. With only one week of training, Creuzet Aronautiques in-house team  was up and running independently with the tool.
