Global demand for supply chain solutions from Manhattan Associates operating on the Microsoft computing platform continues to build.

These solutions are well suited to the needs of industry-leading companies with complex supply chains, multinational operations and robust computing requirements.

"Manhattan Associates and Microsoft have been working together for more than five years to provide innovative technology solutions to vertical markets, and we are especially pleased to be collaborating with Manhattan Associates to tap into emerging markets, such as Russia," said Brian J. Scott, vice president of worldwide industry, Microsoft Corp. "We are confident that our customers are benefitting from the streamlining of processes and integration of best practices that our technologies enable across global supply chain operations."

An international group of innovative companies has chosen solutions from Manhattan Associates built on the Microsoft platform to boost the efficiency of their supply chains, maximize ROI on their technology investment and deliver optimal customer service.

A sampling of this diverse group includes:

. MOL Logistics, one of the world's largest third party logistics providers;
. TW Logistics, a leading logistics services provider in Chile that offers warehousing, transportation and value-added services for flammable and chemical products;
. Mitsubishi Corporation LT, a provider of value-added logistics services that leverages the capabilities of Japan's largest trading and investment firm;
. KGL Logistics, one of the Middle East's leading international logistics service providers;
. Kolok, a South African wholesaler of consumable equipment for computers; and
. Magna Pacific, the largest independent distributor of DVDs in Australia and New Zealand.

"Each of these companies is a leader and innovator in its industry and geography, and each of them understands the strategic value of their supply chains," said Jeff Cashman, senior vice president of business development, Manhattan Associates. "Manhattan Associates is proud to be working with these leading global innovators as they change the way their industries operate."

Last month, Manhattan Associates earned certification in the new "Certified for Microsoft Dynamics" program. "Certified for Microsoft Dynamics" solutions have met Microsoft's highest standard for partner-developed software solutions. The "Certified for Microsoft Dynamics" software solution test verifies the compatibility of Manhattan Associates' software solutions which run on the Microsoft Dynamics platform and are supported by processes and documentation.

Manhattan Associates continues to be an early adopter of Microsoft technology, most recently incorporating Microsoft's Windows Presentation Foundation into its user interface. As a result, Manhattan Associates takes advantage of Microsoft's latest graphical user interface to make its global supply chain applications more intuitive and easier to use.
