Infor has announced that WAREMA will build on its investment in Infor ERP COM.
Europe's leading manufacturer of all types of solutions for sun-shade technology is increasing the number of user seats to 600 in total, making WAREMA one of the largest Infor ERP COM users worldwide. Emphasizing Infors commitment to continue to develop and maintain its solutions according to customer requirements, the contract will run till end of 2013.
The company, headquartered in Marktheidenfeld, Germany, has been working with Infor ERP COM since January 2004. The leading European manufacturer of technical sun shades and controls runs different production approaches, including custom made sun shades, batch production as well as project-based industrial equipment and machinery production. WAREMA Kunststofftechnik and Maschinenbau GmbH, the companys plastics and machinery business unit, was the first to deploy the solution, relying on Infors deep domain expertise and business-specific functionality.
The deployment served as a pilot for future roll-outs to other subsidiaries since plastics and machinery manufacturing covers a wide range of different processes. WAREMA chose Infor ERP COM for its business-specific capabilities coupled with options for customization that means it can meet all WAREMAs manufacturing requirements. Also, Infors experienced consultants solidified WAREMAs confidence in Infor, so the company extended the ERP COM implementation across the entire organization.
WAREMA will benefit from effective and accurate estimates, quoting and contracts to improve its profitability. Infor ERP COM also provides greater visibility in all aspects of the operations within mix-mode manufacturing, resulting in better cost control, faster response to customers and added revenue opportunities.
