M+R Spedag Group selects Infor Warehouse Management to expand supply chain services in Asia

Infor has announced that M+R Spedag Group will implement Infor SCM Warehouse Management (WM) to assist the expansion of its supply chain and logistics services across Asia.

M+R Spedag is a current Infor customer utilising Infor FMS SunSystems for financial management. This most recent investment validates Infors strategy to bring value to its customers by offering best-in-class extensions to their existing installed solutions and highlights Infors capabilities as a global, single source enterprise software provider.

Based in Switzerland, M+R Spedag is a leading independent logistics provider with more than 1,000 employees globally. The group is operational in 58 locations across 23 countries with its own offices and has a global network of partners comprising of 12,500 logistics experts. Represented in Asia since the mid-1980s, M+R Spedag has continuously expanded its activities in the region and today offers comprehensive logistics and transportation solutions in all major trading centers.

M+R Spedag chose WM because the solution allows them to provide better supply chain and fulfillment services to their customers. To mark the official announcement, Infors Chief Operating Officer, Robin Pederson, together with Mr. Ruediger Elste, Regional Director Asia of M+R Spedag Group conducted a contract signing ceremony on the 13th of July 2007.

During the ceremony, Pederson said Infor was particularly excited to be implementing the WM solution for M+R Spedag Group because of the already strong relationship between the companies.
