Catalyst International, a global supplier of supply chain execution software, has announced that the Legrand Group is to extend its Catalyst solution to include transportation planning and management, multi channel distribution and synchronised network fulfilment.
Headquartered in France, the Legrand Group is a worldwide manufacturer of electrical parts with an annual turnover of 3.7 billion and operates in 60 countries worldwide. Legrand supplies products to distributors and resellers throughout the world from its French distribution centres in Verneuil and La Valoine.
Legrands business has been growing rapidly since the Catalyst Warehouse Management solution was first deployed in 2002 and this new project will enable Legrand to manage multiple brands and channels, enhance order fulfilment management, reduce its transport costs, synchronise manufacturing with its finished goods inventory warehousing and optimise its network with cross-docking and appointment scheduling.
