Exact Software continues acquisition strategy with purchase of alphaSIGMA Consulting

Chicago-area IT consulting firm alphaSIGMA Consulting LLC strengthens US regional office network

Exact Software has acquired specific assets of alphaSIGMA Consulting LLC, an IT and professional services firm based in the US.  As a result of the acquisition, the alphaSIGMA location will serve as a regional operation for Exact Software Americas, significantly enhancing the companys ability to service and support customers in the Chicago-area and surrounding Midwest region. alphaSIGMA Consulting has more than 15 employees and has realised a total revenue of $2.1 million (USD) in 2006. The acquisition will be paid in cash.

As an Exact Software business partner, alphaSIGMA Consulting has worked closely with Exact over the years to provide mid-market organisations with the integrated business solutions necessary to optimise efficiency and productivity across the enterprise.  A natural progression of the long-standing relationship between the two companies, the acquisition will provide alphaSIGMA employees with greater access to resources for assisting customers and prospects with their solutions needs.  Ralph Kubek, CEO, and Molly Kelly, President, of alphaSIGMA Consulting will become part of the Exact Software North America management team responsible for overseeing operations at the new Exact Software Chicago office.  This new office will service several hundred Exact Software customers in the Midwest.
