Original design, through manufacture, and on to repair and overhaul in an aerospace environment demands top-quality support systems and flawless quality control. It is our aim to provide our customers with the very highest levels of service and reliability in a timely manner IFS was the natural choice to help us achieve those goals on an international scale.

IFS Applications will bring together several disparate legacy systems within APPH business units in the UK and North America, to form one cohesive and streamlined organisation. Specifically, IFS Applications will be implemented in the finance, sales, manufacturing, repair and overhaul, projects, engineering, contracting, purchasing and spares logistics areas of the organisation. APPH will also monitor their key business metrics using IFS Balanced Scorecards and control all documentation using IFS Document Management.

Aerospace and defence is one of IFS targeted market segments. IFS Applications includes advanced standard functionality that meets the demanding requirements of aerospace and aeronautics manufacturers. IFS fully integrated project tracking and product data management (PDM) capabilities, combined with other IFS Applications components, make it easier to operate while managing the design, manufacturing, and ongoing logistics and maintenance support of complex products throughout the product lifecycle.

IFS has been offering industry-leading MRO software solutions for over 20 years, said Paul Massey, Managing Director, IFS UK. Companies like APPH; operating from a multiple site base, need to have accurate information and analysis across their operations.
