Materials Handling Live! and Logistics Link Live! will be two great shows and one amazing event to be held on 22nd/23rd May 2007 at Stoneleigh Park, Coventry where you will be able to see the UK's most comprehensive range of materials handling and logistics solutions in action.

In addition to demonstrations, you can meet 100s of leading suppliers of materials handling and logistics systems, products and services as well as be inspired by the free conference and product presentations. Furthermore, you can hear industry experts present, debate and discuss the hottest issues in the industry at the free Logistics Manager Round Tables.

This is the only event of its kind in the UK where forklift truck, lifting, handling, loading bay, packaging, racking, stacking and shelving suppliers will join contract logistics providers; property developers; supply chain, fleet and telematic software; wireless/RDT systems; printer, bar coding and labelling suppliers all under one roof.  It offers logistics professionals an accessible, time-saving, one-stop-shop where they can assess the latest range of products, systems and services to keep their businesses ahead of the competition. Taking centre stage at Live! will be the demonstration of the largest scissor lift ever seen at a UK exhibition. The 25 tonne capacity lift platform from Laweco is the size of a double-decker and can be seen loading and unloading a double decked trailer with 36 roll cages and personnel in safety. Barcargolift will be demonstrating their new vertically folded lifting platform for vans that has a holding capacity of 600Kg, Psion Teklogix will be demonstrating their live pick Olympics to show the benefits of Voice picking v Paper v Terminal picking, Shrinkfast will be demonstrating its pallet wrapping machine and Translift Bendi will be demonstrating its Bendi B3 which can operate in 1.6m aisles.

A series of free 30-minute product presentations will keep you informed of the latest technologies and services in the market including: Psion Teklogix presenting their speech recognition devices; Norco will present an innovative asset tracking, transaction recording and reporting system for batteries; Belgravium will be presenting case studies where RFID is currently being utilised in logistics and supply chain applications; Freight Best Practice presentation will help you measure fleet performance effectively so that you can make well-informed, tactical and strategic decisions about your transport operation; Momote will be presenting the pro's and con's of 'going mobile' and Clandestine Software will be explaining how LocateIT has delivered Palletline Logistics with advanced and integrated solutions.

The free BMHF Conference is a hothouse of information will provide you with all the advice to need to ensure your business stays one step ahead. The topics are diverse with presentations ranging from the WEEE regulations and responsibilities, automating order fulfilment, the HSE publication 'Health and Safety in Retail and Wholesale', Racking inspections and knowing your responsibilities, training and the law to putting workplace transport into context.
