Wonderware United Kingdom has announced that the WonderWorld 2006 user conferences exceeded expectations regarding the amount and variety of participating companies - approx 600 in Europe alone - as well as the balanced mix of business executives, engineering and IT professionals, most of which rated the event with good or even excellent. Participating companies included BASF, Masterfoods USA, Porsche, SAP, PPG Industries, Tillamook Nucor Steel and many others.
The WonderWorld 2006 conference series - co-sponsored by Microsoft - was conducted at 19 locations throughout Europe, the U.S., Latin America, and Asia-Pacific. The purpose was to provide executives, information-technology professionals, operations management and engineering personnel with essential information on how they can optimise plant and enterprise operations. The educational sessions focused particularly on the 2006 motto "Unleash Operational Excellence" for manufacturing and facility management And looking at the variety of management, engineering and IT professionals from different industries such as automobile, food processing, chemicals and engineering gathered in the audiences across Europe, the Americas and the Pacific, Wonderware very successfully managed to bring together all the right disciplines required.
