TRANSPORT & LOGISTICS 2007

Transport & Logistics, the largest Benelux trade show of its kind, will take place at Antwerp Expo from 25 to 27 September 2007.

The event has already attracted 150 exhibitors who have booked a total surface area of 6600 m. "This is a significantly large number of participants to have on board well before the opening date," commented Wim Desloovere from the show organiser easyFairs. "It is a clear indication of the sustained health and growth of the transport and logistics sector." he added. First to book was DSV, formerly Frans Maas-Furness Logistics, rapidly followed by other major players in the logistics industry.

Transport & Logistics enjoys the support of the Belgian and Dutch logistics institutes and academics. "It is appropriate that Belgium's most comprehensive event for this sector will take place in Antwerp, at the heart of the country's warehousing and harbour activity.

Around 300 exhibitors are expected to participate, representing all segments of the transport and logistics industry, from conventional multimodal transport to the latest automated goods flow systems. Logistics service providers, material handling suppliers, systems integrators, consultants and solutions providers will demonstrate their products, systems, software solutions and services. Professionals from distribution, industry, warehousing, supply chain and logistics will find everything they need to make their distribution processes more productive and more efficient.

The 2005 edition of Transport & Logistics drew more than 7000 visitors and will this year be collocated with the new trade show, easyFairs SUPPLY CHAIN INNOVATIONS, also running over the three days 25-27 September 2007.

Alongside the exhibition, Transport & Logistics offers an extensive educational programme with learnShops featuring keynote speakers. Exhibitors can invite guest speakers as part of a programme of practical workshops and case studies. All presentations take place on the exhibition floor in professional conference rooms.

Last but not least, each and every professional at Transport & Logistics - exhibitors, visitors, journalists and speakers - will be welcomed at a central VIP Lounge where they can update their knowledge of the transport and logistics market.
