GTS finds flexible ERP solution in Exel EFACS E/8

Exel Computer Systems has secured GTS Flexible Materials as a new EFACS ERP solution customer.

Established in 1967, GTS is one of Europes leading and most progressive designers and manufacturers of flexible laminates and adhesive coatings with a reputation for quality, reliability and durability. With UK based Head Office and Manufacturing facilities, GTS also has subsidiaries in France, Germany and America and supplies to the mission-critical industries of military, aerospace, marine and automotive.
Meeting the specific requirements of the automotive industry standard ISO/TS16949:2002 requires GTS to have a carefully managed supply chain of approved suppliers and material reception by highly trained personnel using certified, calibrated, test equipment. Full audit traceability of materials through the manufacturing processes is also essential.

To help deliver the flexibility and performance expectations of a modern multi-industry supplier, GTS has invested in Exels EFACS E/8. The company has just completed the first implementation phase of its 18-user system and is now live with its EFACS E/8 Accounts, Engineering, Stock, Purchasing and Sales modules. A number of benefits are already being enjoyed, most notably in the area of greatly improved stock management.
