Psion Teklogix to make a stand at international event

Psion Teklogix will have what is likely to be one of the most eye-catching and thought-provoking stands at next years International Materials Handling Exhibition (IMHX).

The company will use the show, which takes place at the NEC, Birmingham on 13-16 March 2007, to highlight their expertise in the key sectors in which they operate. The centerpiece of the stand will be an interactive 60 plasma screen which uses state of the art air mouse and poole system technology to enable visitors to experience a stunning virtual tour of the Psion Teklogix world.

Visitors to the Psion Teklogix stand will also have the opportunity to win a digital camera and a digital photo frame. But, of course, the show is all about business and Psion Teklogix will use IMHX to launch a number of new and innovative additions to their extensive range of mobile computing, wireless data collection, imaging, voice and RFID solutions. Innovations on show for the first time in the UK will be the 8515 vehicle-mounted computer and the latest version of Psions hugely popular Workabout Pro Speech a hand-held data collection terminal with voice technology and Integrated Speech Module that enables users to pick and put-away by voice, then scan or image a bar code or read an RFID transponder.

Hardware partner Zebra Technologies Europe, will be joining the Psion Teklogix team on the stand. Zebra will be displaying the latest RW420 printer with in-cab cradle as used by Heineken and the QL420 printer championed by DHL and TNT. There will also be a chance to see the latest RFID printer from the vendor and an opportunity to win an iPod mp3 player.
