To wide acclaim, RedPrairie, the worlds leading consumer driven optimisation company, has held its first international all product user conference.

RedShift International 2006 was held at the Radisson SAS Royal in Brussels, Belgium, 17-18 October 2006, and was attended by 220 industry professionals from 22 countries who came to share experiences and learn about the latest techniques for meeting customer demands in manufacturing, the supply chain and retail.

The wide-ranging programme of more than 30 sessions included speakers from leading organisations such as IKEA, John Lewis Partnership, Kodak, AMR Research, The Works Retail, One Point Three Ltd and Delphi.

In the final session, Martin Hiscox, RedPrairie President & Managing Director International addressed an enthralled and packed auditorium on the topic of how successful organisations take advantage of a rapidly evolving business landscape.

The event attracted 12 sponsor companies, led by platinum sponsor LXE, the mobile computing specialist, and allowed delegates to get hands on with live demonstrations of just-released software and hardware.

The gala dinner was attended by guest of honour Christian Wiener, General Director of UNICEF Belgium, for whom delegates raised 3,000 enough to feed 3,000 Burundian AIDS orphans for a month.

Commenting on the event, Martin Hiscox said, Were thrilled that our first international user conference has been such a great success - the feedback from our customers and partners has been highly complimentary and were delighted that delegates travelled from as far away as China, Australia, South Africa and the US to join us.'

It has been fabulous to meet so many of our customers and provide them with an opportunity to learn from each others experiences. With our expanding range of solutions we hope to add even greater value to their businesses in helping them to meet ever more complex customer demands. We look forward to an even bigger and even better RedShift International in Windsor in the UK next year.
