Sanderson, the publicly owned UK provider of software and IT services for the Delivered Wholesale and Cash & Carry industries, has won a contract to supply an entry level software solution to Landmark member A J Foods UK Ltd.
Based in Blackburn, A J Foods is a Cash & Carry and Delivered Wholesaler of grocery products. As a newly formed company they required a solution that would provide full control and allow informed business decisions to be made from the very start. Following the lead of a number of other Landmark members, A J Foods selected the Sanderson solution for its functionality and ability to integrate all areas of the business.
A dedicated accounts package will give access to timely and accurate financial information, enabling profit and loss to be analysed. This integrated view of accounts will provide time and cost savings throughout the business by eliminating the need for manual data entry.
As a further benefit to their business, A J Foods will now be able to manage stock in real-time. This will facilitate effective stock management and promote the efficient and accurate purchasing of new stock when required.
Three sophisticated new tills are able to produce on-screen quotations and trolley dockets as well as check stock availability. They will enable A J Foods to improve customer service by speeding up order processing, thereby maximising sales potential. These new tills also work in resilient mode. In the event of system failure, the business can continue to trade, with all transactions automatically updated to the main server once it is back online.
